Here is some helpful information to get you ready for your graduation makeup booking, what to do on the day of your booking and how to make the most of your makeup application!
Before your booking…
If you have not had a trial or would like any changes to your trial, please make sure you have sent me through any colour swatches or pictures of makeup looks you like on people with similar colouring and features to your own.
| Skin
If you have a beauty therapist or dermatologist you see regularly, continue to follow your treatment plan.
If you are looking to do some at home treatments, applying a moisturising or hydrating mask for your skin type can be done right up to the night before your booking. However, a deep exfoliating mask or a new product you haven’t tried before may cause skin irritations or break outs so may not be beneficial the week of your booking. If you are unsure always perform a test patch or consult a beauty therapist or dermatologist.
Remember: A well hydrated and smooth skin is best for the wear and finish of your makeup.
| Eyes
Eyebrow waxing and tinting, eyelash tinting and lifting or eyelash extensions should be done at least 24-48 hours prior to your booking. This is in case of any mishaps and allowing enough time for any skin sensitivities to settle down. If you have never had these services before or are unsure always perform a tinting or glue patch test and consult a reputable professional.
Some things to be aware of are:
– Makeup does not apply and wear to the best of its ability on freshly waxed skin.
– Eyebrow and eyelash tinting may come out quite dark initially and you may need time to remove some of the tint.
– Eyelash extension can be quite irritating causing eye redness or require removal if incorrectly applied.
| Lips
Lip waxing and lip exfoliation should be done at least 24-48 hours prior to your booking. This is in case of any mishaps and allowing enough time for any skin sensitivities to settle down. If you have never had these services before or are unsure consult a reputable professional.
Some things to be aware of are:
– Makeup does not apply and wear to the best of its ability on freshly waxed skin.
– Lip products, especially those with a matte finish, do not apply properly or look as they are intended on chapped or dry lips.
| Tanning
Fake tans should be done 24-48 hours prior to your booking. This is in case of any mishaps and allowing enough time for at least one rinse and moisturise before your booking to avoid fake tan residue staining and removal if required. If you have never had these services before or are unsure always perform a patch test or consult a reputable professional.
| Nails
False nails, manicures or pedicures should be done as close to your booking as possible. This is to reduce the risk of chipped or broken nails.
The day of your booking…
If you have a lipstick you have already chosen that would like to wear please feel free to bring it with you to your booking and I will apply it for you. To the best of your ability try not to apply any makeup the morning of your booking. Follow your skin care routine and ensure you have no makeup or mascara residue remaining. If possible, wear a top or dress that won’t be difficult to take over your head when getting dressed so it doesn’t interfere with your hair and makeup.
Your booking will be held from my home studio. Please arrive on time so we can make the most our of your whole booking time. Feel free to park in the driveway or street side. The address is 29 Guilfoyle Circuit, Kirwan in Willowbank Estate and is easily found on Google Maps as my business is a pinned business address.

If you are running late please let me know as soon as possible. I will try my best to fit you in however will not run overtime into someone else’s booking time.
The remainder of payment for makeup services are due at the time of your booking. Payments can be made by cash or card on the day or by direct deposit 48 hours prior to your booking.
After your booking…
If possible, stay indoors in air-conditioning. There will be the option for you to purchase a Shanghai Suzy lipstick (selected from stock on hand), a mini temporary false lash glue and blotting sheets for you to touch up your makeup throughout the evening if you wish.
Remember: Never wipe or scratch your makeup, always pat or tap!
